: slur used against men who assert their humanity
Women know that they are god’s favorites and that their ability to create life affords them the world’s unending sympathy; their goal is to use that leverage to gain as much power as possible. The movement dedicated to that goal is called feminism.
Any man who stands in their way gets called the I-word with the hard “e-l” (a man that thinks men are equal to women and that women have an obligation to respect us). In this way, the I-word is the N-word for men.
Note that virgin became a less popular anti-men insult as the I-word became popular in the late 2010s. The I-word community is a group of men who are virgins and are angry at women for it, so what women do is use that fact to have plausible deniability that the insult isn’t actually about virgin-shaming men, but calling out misogyny (which is still invalid because misogyny doesn’t exist). The virgin-shaming undertone is intentional.
